The Chardham Yatra by Helicopter is the most convenient, time-saving, and luxurious way to embark on the sacred journey to the four revered shrines of Uttarakhand—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Designed for pilgrims who wish to complete the yatra with ease, comfort, and speed, this helicopter tour is ideal for senior citizens, VIP travelers, and those with limited time.
Traditionally, The Chardham Yatra takes 10–12 days by road. However, the helicopter package allows devotees to complete the entire pilgrimage in just 4 to 6 days, covering the rugged terrain and remote locations without the physical challenges of trekking and long drives. Operated from Dehradun, the helicopter journey offers not only divine blessings but also spectacular aerial views of the snow-capped Himalayas, lush valleys, and sacred rivers.
The yatra typically begins with a briefing in Dehradun, followed by daily helicopter rides to each of the four dhams. The first one is Yamunotri, devoted to Goddess Yamuna. Pilgrims are flown to Kharsali helipad, from where a palki or pony ride are available for taking them to the Temple. The next destination is Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga, reached via Harsil helipad, followed by a short drive to the temple.
Continue the Journey to Kedarnath after Gangotri, Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Helicopters land at the Kedarnath helipad, located close to the temple, ensuring a smooth and easy darshan. The final leg of the yatra takes you to Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, where pilgrims also get time to explore local attractions such as Tapt Kund, Mana Village, and Brahma Kapal.
Whether you're fulfilling a lifelong spiritual dream or planning a comfortable pilgrimage for elderly family members, the Chardham yatra by Helicopter is the ultimate way to experience divine bliss with unmatched convenience.
