  • 22 April 2026 (Saturday) – The temple will open with grand rituals on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, after the winter break. The Baba Kedar idol is ceremoniously brought from Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath to Kedarnath.

🚩 Kedarnath Temple Closing Date 2026:
  • 3 November 2026 (Monday) – The temple will close on the day of Bhai Dooj, after Diwali. Following the closure, the idol of Lord Shiva is moved to Ukhimath, where he is worshipped during the winter season.
